Rodents are very common in the Tampa bay area. There are Roof rats, Norway rats and Squirrels as well as House and Field mice. Roof rats are also called citrus or fruit rats and Norway rats are also called sewer or wharf rats. There are two types of mice, the House and Field mouse. Squirrels and Roof rats are by far, the most abundant but all are very common. Rodents can enter your home or office through an opening the size of their head. For an adult rat or squirrel, that’s less than one inch! Mice, only a half inch! With this much opportunity, no home or office is exempt. The services listed below are for rats, squirrels and mice.

Rodent/Wildlife Corrective Service (WCS)

Rodent/Wildlife Corrective Service (WCS) is for the control of an indoor rodent infestation. We use a trapping system to prevent possible harming of children, pets or non-target animals. This trapping system is placed in rodent’s paths and passages in areas where the technicians feel will be most beneficial to eradicate the infestation in a timely manner. This service is up to 30 days but eradication time depends upon the severity of the infestation and prior control methods. Following eradication, we encourage Rodent Exclusion (WX) and/or Rodent/Wildlife Preventive Service (WPS) to keep the rodents out. We also recommend our Wildlife Bioguard System (WBG) to disinfect the contaminated area or areas.

Rodent/Wildlife Exclusion (WX)

Rodent/Wildlife Exclusion (WX) is sealing the structure to block all rodent entry points. This is a long range option using wire, screen, foam, metal, wood or some other material to block entries. (WX) is guaranteed one year.

 Rodent/Wildlife Preventive Service (WPS)

Rat/Wildlife Preventive Service (WPS) is recommended for homes, offices or areas of high rat pressure and only when there is not an active indoor infestation. (WPS) is not recommended if a (WX) had not been done because there is no guarantee that rats will not find open entry points in your home or office. (WPS) controls an outside rat issue, but does not guarantee against other rodents.

Note: (WPS) is not for the control of an active indoor rodent problem. See Rodent/Wildlife Corrective Service (WCS). (WPS) automatically renews quarterly until you cancel or will automatically cancel if your payment is not received by the next quarterly renewal date. A secured rodenticide bait box is installed approximately every 50 linear feet around the foundation or as needed to protect a covered area. Quarterly we inspect the exterior of your home, office or other control area and check for rodent activity. If a breach has occurred during the coverage period, we will as needed, add boxes, traps, increase the frequency of visits or other control measures as needed to regain control of the coverage area at no extra cost until the activity is controlled and then return to quarterly prevention.
